Transneft Far East has provided assistance to Belogorsk pre-school institutions of Amur Region.
Transneft Far East, as part of a charitable programme, has allocated over RUB 300 thousand to support city nursery schools No. 1, 5, 9.
These funds were used to purchase materials for repair and construction works in all three pre-school institutions. Redecoration works and laying the floor covering as well as a building inspection at Belogorsk Nursery School No. 1 were carried out. The porch was reconstructed and the roof was repaired at Belogorsk Nursery School No. 9. Fence installation at Belogorsk Nursery School No. 5 has begun.
All works were carried out in compliance with all anti-epidemic standards and using the personal protective equipment by volunteers of the Belogorsk production support base (PSB) in their free time.
According to Pavel Kamosko, Head of the Belogorsk PSB, “Our members of the volunteer movement decided to help pre-school institutions since there are always not enough of man's hands, and it is important to lighten the workload of the nursery teachers.”
Employees of the nursery schools and parents of pre-school children expressed gratitude to the employees of Transneft Far East. “Your support is very important for us, your guys worked very carefully and responsibly. Thank you very much for your responsiveness, for such a great help. We couldn't have done it without Transneft,” said Yevgenia Zorina, Head of Belogorsk Nursery School No 1.
Company’s volunteers traditionally take an active part in nationwide, regional and individual volunteer projects. They support socially vulnerable citizens, plant trees, clean up banks of rivers and lakes, provide targeted assistance to veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
