Transneft Far East has summed up the results of the 4th corporate winter sports festival.
The competitions, part of the first stage of the 4th winter Sports Festival of Transneft subsidiaries, were held at sports facilities of the Holdomi ski resort near Solnechny Settlement in Khabarovsk.
The two-day competition was attended by teams of Belogorsk Regional Oil Pipeline Directorate (RPD), Dalnerechensk RPD and the Company’s executive office. 49 winners of qualifying competitions, the winners at the Company’s oil pipeline directorate level, competed in four sports: ski racing, skiing relay, snowboarding and downhill slalom skiing.
Some of the athletes become honourable winners twice. First places in ski slopes and ski racing were taken by Azamat Shamuratov, an electrical equipment fitter of Executive Office’s Buildings Operation and Economic Maintenance Section; Darya Sushchikova, a training manager of Belogorsk Regional Oil Pipeline Directorate, took second places in the same two competitions. Olga Kazakova, lead ecology engineer at the executive office, was awarded a special jury’s award For the Will to Win.
The winners were awarded medals, diplomas and cups. The best athletes of the Company will participate in the regional stage of the winter Sports Festival of Transneft in Irkutsk on February 2 – 3, 2019. They will compete for the right to participate in the final stage with the teams of Transneft East and Transneft Kozmino Port.
