The Company's specialists told the audience about the aspects of operating the second stage of the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean oil trunk pipeline (ESPO-2) as well as about operational equipment and technologies used by Transneft Far East. The programme of the lectures included the following issues: automated process control systems at ESPO-2 operating facilities, pipeline corrosion protection, mechanical, technological and power equipment used at oil transportation facilities in the Far East.

Alexander Gulkov, Head of the Department of Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Industry within the university’s School of Engineering, noted that Transneft Far East had been a partner of FEFU since 2012 and assisted in the implementation of the educational process. The Company renders assistance in expanding the material, technical and laboratory base of the department, as well as in enhancing the qualification of its teaching staff.
