Transneft Far East is revamping a sports facility at School No. 3 in Solnechny settlement of Khabarovsk Territory.
The project envisions comprehensive repairs at the building that hosts a gymnastics hall, an exercise hall, two sports courts and two swimming pools for children and adults. Moreover, it is planned to completely replace engineering equipment at the premises.
To date, the Company has finished a detailed technical inspection of the sports facility, determined the actual scope of work and prepared design documentation. Overhaul of the sports facility’s walls and roof will start in July 2018. The work, whose cost will exceed RUB 11 million, is expected to be completed in September 2018. Altogether, the Company will allocate more than RUB 132 million for the large-scale reconstruction of the school’s sports facility. The revamping will end in 2020.
The revamping of the sports facility at School No. 3 of Solnechny settlement is being conducted under partnership agreements signed between Transneft and the Government of Khabarovsk Territory in 2013 and 2015. In line with the agreements, the Company sponsors the region’s social protection and healthcare projects as well as helps develop culture and sports.
Since 2014, Transneft Far East has been participating in overhauling the Lenin Stadium in Khabarovsk. As of now, the Company has allocated more than RUB 224 million to implement this large-scale project.
