About the Organisation
Transneft Far East is one of the youngest companies within the Transneft system. It was established in August 2009 as an investor and eventually the operating entity of phase II of the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean (ESPO-2) oil pipeline system.
Emergency-free oil transportation in the section from OPS-21 (Skovorodino) to the Kozmino oil port, uninterrupted raw materials supply to the Khabarovsk and Komsomolsk refineries are the main areas of Transneft Far East’s activities.
The ESPO-2 pipeline system and the ESPO – Komsomolsk Refinery oil pipeline offshoot are made using cutting-edge achievements in the design, construction and operation of oil pipelines, offer high reliability and minimum impact on the environment.
By 2020, the design capacity per year will be:
- 50 million tonnes for the ESPO-2 PS;
- 6 million tonnes for the ESPO – Khabarovsk Refinery oil pipeline offshoot;
- 8 million tonnes for the ESPO – Komsomolsk Refinery oil pipeline offshoot.
